A C1-C2 Language Development Course for English Teachers

How long is the course?

This is a 120-hour, 3-semester course aiming at helping English teachers develop their level of English moving from CEFR C1 (Advanced) towards C2 (Post-Advanced).

Module 3: July – December 2024 (40 hours – 2 hours a week)

1 weekly online session of 120 minutes – via Google Meet

NB.: This is NOT an exam prep course.

This course is for you if…

… you have studied English for approximately 700-800 hours and have an Advanced (C1) level of the language (find out here);
… would like to keep on developing your level of English without necessarily preparing for an exam (This is NOT an exam prep course);
… you would like to develop your level of English to have better professional and academic opportunities.

What will I learn?

This is a course aiming at helping English teachers develop their level of English moving from CEFR C1 (Advanced) towards C2 (Post-Advanced). Participants will have the chance to discuss and debate a wide range of topics to improve fluency and accuracy, as well as refine Writing skills in order to express views effectively;
Participants will also undergo real-life communication situations, which, allied to the feedback of an experienced tutor, will help them expand on their Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening Skills, as well as focus on complex and sophisticated Grammatical structures and Vocabulary.

Course Materials

COURSE INVESTMENT FOR 2024 (1 MODULE):

Early-bird Fee: 6 installments of R$ 351,00 – payable immediately via PIX or Boleto Bancário (for enrollments up to June 16th, 2024);
Regular Fee: 6 installments of R$ 390,00 – payable immediately via PIX or Boleto Bancário (for enrollments up to July 31st, 2024);
Full Payments have 3% discount – via Credit Card, PIX or Boleto Bancário – paid upon registration.

Groups will be formed by a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 10;
This is NOT an exam prep course. It focuses on the teacher's language development at C1/C2 level instead;
Materials need to be purchased and won't be offered in PDF formats;
Sessions will be recorded and made available to participants for up to a week via Google Classroom;

Course Tutor

Rodrigo Sigoli has been in ELT since 2006, as an English teacher, Teacher Educator, Conference Speaker, Director of Studies and Cambridge English tutor.

He is a TOEFL and TOEIC certified exam administrator and has also been a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner since 2012 for levels Pre-A1 to C2.

Besides his degree in Languages, he has been awarded multiple certifications by Cambridge English: the C2 Proficiency (2011), the BULATS (2012), the CELTA (2013), as well as Train the Trainer (2019) and the CertPT by Trinity College London (2023).
